A great project for the next school holidays – will keep the kids busy for hours!

 

What you’ll need:

 

• Paper towel rolls or some cardboard

• Coloured paper - we used silver paper but you can use whatever colour you prefer

• Some glue and sticky tape

• Red ribbon to secure the ends

• Printed paper photos of your family members and guests

• Clear celophane, small clear plastic bags or glad wrap to fill with treats

• Sweets or personal treats eg soaps

 

How to create:

 

• Cut your coloured paper to the desired length and wrap around the paper roll, allow excess at both ends to tie (about 8 cm should do the trick)

• Secure with sticky tape

• Fill clear bags with treats and insert into paper roll

• Twist the excess paper and tie with ribbon

• Now comes the tricky part. Take your printed photos, cut out the image and glue in place – these form individual seating place cards along with decorating your table!

• You can jazz them up with stick on crystals or fairy dust as well for that extra touch of magic!
